Communicative Disorders Assistant
Yasamin Taei is a second-year Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) student currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Idaho State University. She is also a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) with the York Region Preschool Speech and Language Program. Yasamin completed her undergraduate degree in Honors Linguistics at York University and went on to complete the Communicative Disorders Assistant program at Georgian College.
Yasamin is passionate about working with adults and children. She strongly advocates for the importance of parent coaching and values communication with professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive care. Yasamin has experience in adult rehabilitation, articulation therapy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and play-based therapy.
