Speech-Language Pathologist
Carly obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, followed by a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at McMaster University. Carly is passionate about working with the pediatric population. She has experience in assessing and supporting a wide range of speech and language skills including receptive and expressive language, literacy, speech sound disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, play and social skills, and motor speech. Carly strives to follow a functional therapeutic approach that is strengths-based and client-led. She values working collaboratively with clients and their families in addition to other professionals to ensure that treatment goals are meaningful to her clients’ daily life.
Carly is a life-long learner who seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge and clinical skills through conducting research, continuing education courses and her clients’ values. In her spare time, Carly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going on walks and skiing in the winter.
