Speech-Language Pathologist
Helen obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at York University. During her undergraduate studies, she volunteered at Aurora Speech Clinic and with the March of Dimes Aphasia and Communication Disabilities program. She then obtained her Master of Health Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto. She is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).
After graduating, Helen has been providing services in schools with the School Based Rehabilitation Services-Early Intervention program. Helen has experience working with children in the areas of articulation, motor speech, fluency, social communication, receptive and expressive language.
Helen provides services using a family and client-centred approach and seeks opportunities to further her clinical skills and knowledge through continuing education courses.
