Speech-Language Pathologist

Jaime obtained a Bachelors of Health Science Honours with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences from Carleton University, followed by her Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from McMaster University. 

Following graduation, Jaime moved to Thunder Bay, ON, to work with children at the George Jeffrey Children’s Centre. During her time there, Jaime worked as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide services to paediatric populations in the community, assessing, treating, and consulting for a wide variety of areas, including articulation and phonology, fluency, motor speech, language development, social communication, and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC). In addition, Jaime worked as part of the Entry-to-School team, assisting children with Autism prepare to enter Kindergarten, and regularly traveled into the district to provide Rural and School-Based Rehabilitation Services to children in the surrounding areas. 

Jaime enjoys learning and strives to continue expanding her skills to provide the most evidence-based, functional, and family-centred care for her clients. Jaime is dedicated to providing services that help her clients meet their goals and allow them to participate in activities that are meaningful to them. In her spare time, Jaime enjoys musical theatre, hiking, and spending time with her family.
