Occupational Therapist

Stephanie is excited to be part of the Aurora Speech Clinic team and brings with her over 19 years of experience in pediatrics. She strives to help every child that she works with to maximize their potential in a positive, child and family-centred manner. Stephanie has experience supporting children in the areas of; fine motor skills, self-regulation abilities, sensory processing abilities, play, gross motor, and self-care skills. She has worked with many children over the years with; Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, learning difficulties, prematurity, ADHD, developmental delays, and other genetic conditions.

Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology, minor in Psychology, from McMaster University. She then obtained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. Stephanie is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.

Stephanie strives to help children develop their skills to enable integration. She also has experience with successful program development and implementation that has allowed children with a variety of special needs to successfully participate in extracurricular activities such as skating. Stephanie has experience with developing and teaching workshops to parents, caregivers, Early Childhood Educators, and College students.
